Chair yoga is suitable for anyone who can sit in a chair. Variations of the same posture are offered so regardless of the participants flexibility and mobility on the day, everyone is involved with the entire class.

WHAT TYPE OF CHAIR DO I NEED?

Any chair is suitable. You just need to feel comfortable and secure. I can provide chairs or you can use the chairs that are available at your site. This can be discussed further.

HOW DO I BOOK?

WHAT DO I WEAR?

Clothing that is comfortable and allows you to move easily.

I DON'T THINK I'M FLEXIBLE ENOUGH TO DO YOGA.

Chair yoga is ideal for those who don't think they have the flexibility to do a traditional mat class. The chair offers support for your co-ordination and balance and allows you to comfortably enhance your range of movement.

HOW LONG ARE THE CLASSES?

Classes are normally 75 minutes which involves movement and short breathing exercises and meditation. All activities are designed to help relax the body and mind.

WHAT IS THE COST OF A CLASS?

The price is determined by the number of participants and the duration of the class. Please contact me so we can discuss this further as every class is tailored to suit the ability and the needs of the participants.
